This serum is really popular for a reason. It helps brighten the skin and improve the look of dark spots and acne marks over time. The texture is a bit thicker than typical serums, but it absorbs well once you apply a small amount.After consistent use, skin can look more even, smooth, and glowy. I don’t typically write reviews unless I find it necessary. I have genuinely never found any serum or moisturizer that has worked this good. I have struggled with cystic acne and dry skin / premature aging for quite a while now, im only 20 years old but my skin was pretty fried i guess idk how to explain it. i’ve only used this serum twice now, overnight and this morning. tell me why my acne scars are ALREADY ALMOST GONE?? 😭 IT HASNT EVEN BEEN A FULL DAY. i know it sounds too good to be true but literally let me show you my skin rn, sorry i don’t have a before pic but it’s pretty self explanatory. i would say this serum brightens, hydrates, smooths, ans glassifies. i wouldn’t recommend on oily skin, this would best suit aged skin or dry skin users. it like brought my skin back to life in 1 use

I’ve been using the ANUA Niacinamide 10% + TXA 4% Serum, and overall, I really like the results. From my experience, it does require consistent and frequent use if you want to see a noticeable difference in dark spots and hyperpigmentation. It’s not an overnight fix, but with patience, you can start to see improvement.What I love most is how it has improved my skin’s overall appearance. My complexion looks more even, and my skin has a natural, healthy glow that I didn’t have before. It also makes my face look smoother and more refreshed.So far, I’m very happy with this serum, and it has definitely become a product I enjoy using in my skincare routine.

If your skin can tolerate 10% niacinamide, you should give this a try. I was not completely consistent using this product but when I DID start doing so, within a month, I saw drastic improvements. Even if you don't experience the 2-week-magical-fading-of-dark-marks hype around this product, the ingredients are still very powerful and effective so allow it the time to work.Not only does it improve hyperpigmentation and dark marks, but also your skin texture and hydration, giving it a dewy appearance. As niacinamide also helps with sebum production, this product tackles acne issues.The key is to be consistent and if you can add a Vitamin C and/or Vitamin A serum to your skincare routine, you'll boost its efficacy and the timeline to get the results you desire. I've added pictures of how much of the product I used morning and evening, my skin the night before I started it and the my skin on the day of this review. I found it a bit sticky so be mindful of that as well.For reference, I used Geek and Gorgeous Vitamin C serum (morning) and their 0.01% Retinal Cream (evening) along with this serum.All the best with your skin journey.

I have had melasma on my forehead for about 2yrs now. On my bare skin it’s sorta noticeable but only if you sit there and stare at my forehead. It gets really noticeable when I wear makeup, it looks GREY. I’ve had prescription creams brought from Mexico and nothing seemed to help. I finally did a little research and found a couple of products on here but the price was too much for my liking.I finally decided to buy this product and at first I started using a heavy layer of it which in turn started to cause me cystic acne. I stopped for a few days, did a facial scrub and started it again with a THIN layer.Since then my melasma is improving, and my old acne scars are starting to fade!I’m not sure if the improvement is in conjunction with the facial scrub or a chemical peel from the brand the ordinary that I’ve started to use when I started this serum. Regardless, it’s working for me and I feel much better each day I look in the mirror and I see improvement. It’s worth the money. Give it a try.UPDATE 3/31/26My melasma has improved tremendously, but now there’s a clear pixelated look to it😂I have stopped using the facial scrub and moved on to a glycolic acid from the ordinary. The chemical peel and glycolic acid are giving me the benefits of smooth textured skin, I do notice just a tiny bit of peeling but, it’s nothing alarming. I moisturize with elf brand holy hydration unscented with SPF 30, then follow it up with the ordinary SPF 45 if I’m going to be outside.Products I use: elf holy hydration facial cleanser, the ordinary niacinamide serum, anua 10+, elf holy hydration moisturizer spf 30 unscented.The acids like the ordinary chemical peel, I use once every 2 weeks, and the ordinary glycolic acid twice a week. Through trial and error and a little research I’ve figured out that when I do my chemical peel, I should avoid the anua serum for at least 5 days, just stick to cleansing and moisturizing.On the nights I do my glycolic acid, I wait 1 hour, then apply the niacinamide, wait for it to absorb, then apply my moisturizer. Next morning I cleanse, niacinamide, anua, moisturize, then spf 45 if I’m going out. It seems like a lot and the reason I took so long to finally take care of my face was because I felt like I didn’t have the time for it. Once you start giving your products time to function, you start to enjoy doing your facial routine. That’s where I’m at in my journey. I hope my long rant helped.
